It seems certain that mod support will be released before the last DLC, Nuka-World is launched in August. It can be hoped that Hines’ reference that mod support would be sorted well before November could mean an update arriving from Bethesda on the subject very soon. While fans can give a sigh of relief that Fallout 4 PS4 mods support is not set to be scrapped altogether, a firm release date is still not known. “PC mods on a console have never been done before. I expect any holdups to be resolved long before then,” Hines tweeted.
